"Norway for free" by Moa Karlberg | K...

High mountains, crystal clear fjords, deep forests and happy people. Norway is a charming tourist destination - but not everyone can afford a holiday in the country with Europe's most expensive food. Moa Karlberg gave herself a mission: to travel for a week in Norway without spending any money on food. She and her friend Julie Saurit slept in a tent or in private homes. All the food they ate, they got from the grocery store chains Bunnpris and Kiwi, following their sustainability warranties of giving away expired food for free. The route was made up from Bunnpris' own map of stores in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Kristiansand. Full text (9000 characters long) about food waste, freeganism, beautiful sceneries and surprised Norwegians. (kon)
