KEYSTONE congratulates  Dominique Teufen, winner of the „17th vfg Young Talents in Photography Prize“. For her work entitled “Flash Light Sculptures”, the photographer from Zurich used artificial lighting to create and photographically capture the illusion of a world of forms. “This is not an end to itself nor could it be qualified as idle playing around” says jury member Roberto Raineri-Seith, “rather, it is the creation of a spirit keen to experiment, and one wouldn’t mind seeing such works more often”, noting further her work “constituted a probing into photography’s single most important element – light”.

The jury of this year’s edition was impressed with the high quality standards of the works submitted, both in terms of technique as well as concept. From 100 entries, the 10 best works by Switzerland’s young talents in photography were awarded a prize.

The exhibition of the winning submissions will be shown from November 28 until January 5, 2014, at the gallery „Oslo8“ in Basel, Switzerland. KEYSTONE commits to supporting young talents in photography by sponsoring the main prize of the “vfg Young Talents in Photography” competition.
